Buying a pool table can be a big decision. Here are answers to common questions we get asked to help you better understand us and how we can help you own your perfect table!
Who is Vision Billiards?
We are the official distributor for 'Bilijardai' tables in the U.S. and the Americas. Bilijardai is a family-owned company in Europe operating out of Lithuania that manufactures, sells, and distributes handcrafted, premium pool tables since 1994. We have been distributing Russian Pyramid, Snooker, Carom, Rustic Log tables, and Luxury Convertible Pool Tables in the United States since 2000.
What types of products do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of billiard and game tables. The most popular line in our portfolio is our premium convertible pool tables. We also are the only company in the US specializing in Russian pyramid billiard tables. You can learn more about Russian Pyramid here. In addition, we manufacture traditional American Pool tables, and tables for Snooker and Carom. We pride ourselves in our handcrafted Rustic Log Tables. Lastly, we offer table conversions for playing Table Tennis and Poker and a variety of furniture and accessories kits to complement your table.
What is a convertible pool table?
A convertible pool table is a dual-purpose pool table that is most frequently used as a dining table that converts into a pool table. Our tables are constructed to be a comfortable playing height within regulation standards and also to accommodate standard-sized chairs. We use a hardwood and steel and slate playing area combination to build a solid pool table that plays just like any other traditional pool table and yet, looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. Our convertible tables are used in dining rooms, recreation rooms, offices, and conference rooms alike.
How do I order a table?
Some people come to us and know exactly what they want and what size, color, and design and are immediately ready for an invoice. Others need assistance walking through the specifications: determining the size table that works best for them, selecting a style, stain color, cloth color, wood, tabletop style, and other special features. We welcome everyone and are happy to walk you through the entire process from start to finish. We pride ourselves on excellent and prompt customer service. How much do your tables cost?
The cost of our tables varies depending on what features the tables have. We offer basic, beautiful, no-frill tables for very affordable prices. Features that add to the cost of your table are: plexiglass legs, LED features, adjustable height lift, wood choice, and glass table tops to name a few. What does not affect the price of your table is stain or cloth color. Selecting a unique stain color will likely add to the delivery time, though, as custom tables take significantly longer to deliver because they are made from scratch in Europe.
How long does it take to get my table?
This depends on a few factors. If your table is in stock, we are able to release your table in 1-2 business days and shipping generally takes 5-7 business days within the continental United States. If you customize a table that needs to be made from scratch at our factory in Lithuania, this extends the delivery time to around 3-6 months. The process of constructing and testing your table once an order is received can take up to a few weeks. Then, we ship your table across the Atlantic in an ocean container and have to wait for it to arrive and make it through Customs. Once we receive the table in Chicago, it can be prepared and shipped out in 2-3 business days. If you need a rush delivery on a custom or bespoke table, it can be done via Air-freight, and it can take about 4 weeks from the time your order is placed to the time it arrives in Chicago.
Do you have a showroom?
We do have a showroom in Chicagoland. We operate during normal business hours and show tables generally by appointment only. Please call us at (224) 628-2921 to schedule a visit that works for your schedule.
Do you have a warranty or offer returns?
We offer 30-day returns with no catches. You will be responsible for paying return shipping costs. The table may be subject to a 10%-20% restocking fee. We refund your money generally within 5 business days of receiving the table. Due to the nature of our products, we require that the table be received complete with all original components in the original condition you received it in and without damage. If the table is received damaged, we are unable to offer a refund.
We do offer a warranty. We ask that you check all components of your table upon receipt of your table and alert us before installation to any damage or defects incurred during manufacturing or delivery. You can read our full warranty statement here.
